The region’s premier bus operator Wilts & Dorset has launched the first of 12 new buses in Swanage for services to and from the Isle of Purbeck. The Go Ahead Group, that acquired Wilts & Dorset in 2003, has invested £2.4 million to upgrade the fleet operated from their Swanage Depot - the greatest investment in Dorset since the company’s more bus fleet was introduced to the Poole - Bournemouth - Christchurch network in 2004.
