The current road works on the A31 near Canford Bottom will enter their next phase from 2 February 2012. This will involve the closure of several exits off the Canford Bottom roundabout and will affect the route, and timetable, of route 13.

Buses from Bournemouth to Wimborne
The route from Bournemouth to Ferndown will be unaffected, after Ferndown buses will run along Wimborne Road East as far as Cobham Road and then via Ferndown Industrial Estate, A31 to Merley, and Oakley Hill into Wimborne.
The stops in Wimborne Road West between Stapehill and Canford Bottom will not be served – if you are travelling towards Wimborne from these points you will need to make your way to either Wimborne Road East near Award Road or to Canford Bottom near Dales Drive.
Buses from Wimborne to Bournemouth
We will run the above diversion in the opposite direction for buses towards Bournemouth, however, for the first two weeks we hope to have access to the A31 from Canford Bottom and during this time buses from Wimborne will use the normal route through Colehill.
These journeys are shown with red times on the temporary timetable. Please check back here regularly though – as soon as the road is closed you will need to travel via Wimborne if travelling from Colehill or Canford Bottom.
The stops in Wimborne Road West between Canford Bottom & Stapehill will not be served – if you are travelling towards Bournemouth from these points you will need to make your way to Wimborne Road East near Award Road.
Colehill & Canford Bottom shuttle route
During the closure we will be running a shuttle bus between Canford Bottom, Colehill and Wimborne – shuttle bus journeys are shown shaded purple on the temporary timetable. If travelling from these locations beyond Wimborne you will need to change to the connecting bus at Wimborne. Some early morning and late evening journeys, and all journeys on Sundays, will not require a change of bus at Wimborne.
The timetable for route 13 will be different throughout this period of work – please check the temporary timetable carefully as some journeys may run earlier than at present.
