From 9th January Sandford Road will be closed from Sandford Schools Roundabout to Holton Heath traffic lights, travelling from Swanage to Poole, route 40 will be diverted as follows:
From Northmoor, the 40 will follow the normal route to Sandford Schools roundabout, then turn at the roundabout and return to the Sandford Pub, then right at the roundabout and follow the B3075 Morden Road to the junction of A35 and turn right.
The bus will then continue to the junction of Wareham Road and turn right into Organford in the opposite direction travelling to Holton Heath traffic lights, then turn left and follow the A351 to the Bakers Arms Roundabout to resume normal route.
All stops along the 40 route that will be affected by the road closure will have notices in place by 9th January to advise customers of their nearest alternative stop.
Buses travelling from Poole to Swanage are not affected.
