The New Forest, one of Britain's newest National Parks, is nestled between the bright lights of Southampton and Bournemouth.
The towns of Lymington, Brockenhurst, New Milton and Lyndhurst are linked by Wilts & Dorset’s network of local bus services.
Cross County routes X1 & X2 run half hourly to Christchurch and the beaches of Bournemouth from Lymington and New Milton. Bluestar 6 (run by our sister company) crosses the heart of the National Park and link Lymington, Brockenhurst and Lyndhurst with Totton and Southampton. We also provide local town services in Lymington and New Milton in partnership with Hampshire County Council.
Each summer our friends at Bluestar run the popular New Forest Tour. A two hour loop of the best parts of the National Park in an open top bus.
On the north eastern side of the New Forest we run routes in and out of the market town of Ringwood. Cross County route X3 and route 36 provide three buses an hour to Bournemouth. X3 also serves Fordingbridge, Downton and Salisbury. Once in Salisbury you can enjoy the Cathedral, the market on Tuesdays and Saturdays, or why not journey back in time on our Stonehenge Tour.
