When you go shopping, go the easy way – by bus! Our buses will drop you right in the centre of town; much closer to the shops than most of the car parks. Forget the endless driving round to pounce on that elusive parking space, and you don’t have to worry about over parking and the fine that may follow – in fact you avoid the cost of parking altogether.
Wilts & Dorset buses can take you to all of the best shopping areas – let us make the going easy
Poole
Poole, the largest town in Dorset, is home to the magnificent Dolphin Shopping Centre, regarded by many as the county’s premier shopping centre. Ideally situated in the heart of the town, here you will find a huge variety of shops, from big name stores to interesting specialist outlets, all pleasingly arranged under one roof. Poole Bus Station is an important part of the Dolphin Centre, with direct undercover access between the buses and the shops.
Bournemouth
All of the main town centre shopping areas in Bournemouth are pedestrianised, but bus lanes allow convenient bus stops close to the shops. All of the well known stores are here, with an especially wide range of fashion shops and boutiques. Also well worth a look are the arcades and the undercover Avenue Shopping Centre.
Salisbury
Shopping in Salisbury is a pleasure, with traffic free malls such as Cross Keys Chequer, The Old George Mall and The Maltings as wells as other pedestrianised streets and rows. The well known high street names mingle with many independent specialist shops. And the great thing about Salisbury is that although many of the shops are housed in very historic buildings, the sheer variety of the outlets guarantees that there is something here for everyone. If you visit Salisbury on Tuesday or Saturday you will find the Market Square thronged with people and fascinating market stalls where you can buy just about anything from farm fresh vegetables to clothing.
